George Ann S. Clegg

George Ann S. Clegg, 56, of Brockton died Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton after a long battle with cancer. She was the former wife of Jerry Clegg of North Carolina.

Born November 13, 1953 in Savannah, Georgia she was a daughter of Theoloo E. (Parker) Schmidt and the late Robert G. Schmidt. She was raised and educated in Charlotte, North Carolina. George Ann loved her pugs and she was a supporter of the Pug Rescue of New England. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Clegg and her fiancé Robert Renc of Chicago; her mother Theoloo E. Schmidt of Brockton; her two sisters, Marie Schmidt and her husband Paul Fernandes and Laura Schmidt all of Brockton; her two nieces, Jennifer Lavoie and her husband Chris and there children and Jessica Mullins and her partner William Packard all of Brockton. She was the sister of the late Carol Mullins.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (RT123) Brockton on Saturday at 12:00PM. Interment will be private. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Saturday 10:00AM – 12:00PM.
