Mary E. (Osborne) Murphy

Mary Elizabeth (Osborne) Murphy, 83, of Walpole, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the Braemoor Rehabilitaion and Nursing Ceneter with her family surrounding her. She was the former wife of Richard J. Murphy.
Born December 2, 1928 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late George Osborne and Mary E. (Feeney) Osborne.
Mrs. Murphy was a Walpole resident after moving there in 1959. She enjoyed sewing, rug braiding, knitting, crocheting, painting and gardening.
In addition to her former husband, she is survived by her daughters, Mary Beth (Murphy) Keating and her husband Ken of Foxboro and Denise (Murphy) Kotopoulos and her husband Bill of North Easton; her grandchildren, Meghan Keating, Erin Keating and her fiancé Silvestre Da Rocha, Brendan Keating, Tom Kotopoulos and James Kotopoulos; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late George “Sonny” Osborne and Honora “Babe” Hill.

Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Wednesday, January 11th from 4:00-7:30PM followed by a funeral service at 7:30PM.
